All Blacks to wear ocean plastic training gear

To highlight the issue of marine pollution, the jerseys feature a special graphic design inspired by a breaking wave. It continues the brand’s close relationship with ocean conservation group Parley for the Oceans.
As well as the All Blacks Parley training jerseys, which the team will wear during upcoming tournaments, adidas has also created a t-shirt, a hoodie and shorts from recycled ocean plastic.
All the products were available to purchase from April 1 at adidas stores, major sporting goods retailers, rugby retailers and online.
In 2018, several members of the All Blacks squad, including star fly-half Beauden Barrett (pictured) took part in an educational session with Parely for the Oceans ambassadors on Motuihe Island in Auckland’s Hauraki Gulf, which is an area protected by the New Zealand Department of Conservation.
