Swimwear’s jacquard-knit layer makes a splash
A tie-up between two made-in-Italy manufacturers, fabrics developer Eurojersey and warp-knitted seamless specialist Cifra, have united on Hi-Tech Crochet, a swimwear collection designed with both performance and “art” in mind.
Built on Eurojersey’s Sensitive-branded fabrics, each of which has at least 22% Lycra stretch-fibre content, the first of two layers boasts “second-skin” comfort, providing an under layer with technical properties ranging from muscle support to sculpting, shaping and ultraviolet protection.
The brightly coloured suit concept also features a decorative surface constructed by Cifra from a three-dimensional seamless jacquard knit, making it "revolutionary" for the world of beachwear, the partners said.
