Anta launches second Global Sportswear Design Award
Chinese sports group Anta and Tsinghua University have announced the launch of the second Global Sportswear Design Award, the theme of which is MOVEvolution.
This time, the focus is on anticipating the next trends in sports equipment, athletic shoes, sportswear and accessories design, emphasising an interdisciplinary research. The three categories are: activewear, footwear and materials, covering sustainability, smart textiles and fashion fabrics.
Entries will remain open from July 2023 to March 10, 2024, with the final awards ceremony set to be held in September of that year. The key idea is to reform the country’s Made in China image to Created in China.
