Descente Golf unveils Air Circulation Swing Down
Descente Korea’s golfwear business, Descente Golf, has launched new performance material Air Circulation Swing Down for outerwear following a lengthy period of internal research and development.
Inspired by tour professionals’ feedback, the down jacket technology is oriented more towards optimising thermoregulation, as opposed to external windproofing.
It realises this through use of what it calls “air circulation” tubes for seams. These tubes facilitate heat transfer around the body, while also working to trap warm air and minimise heat loss by way of an extra insulation layer, according to the company.
The sleeve elastic, meanwhile, relies on a different kind of stretch material to the body, “to help with a snag-free swing”.
Microfleece inside the neckline and zipper pockets delivers a degree of added warmth and comfort.
Available in black, navy or light grey, the golfing jacket has been designed to meet wearers’ “on-field” and “off-field” needs alike, in line with the broader Descente Golf ethos, local media said.
