Teijin to participate in Première Vision Paris
06/09/2016
The company says these will include a “selected portfolio” of Autumn/Winter 2017-18 materials developed with advanced post-processing, spinning and yarn-processing methods.
Among the fabrics displayed will be the Solotex polytrimethylene terephthalate fibre, which Teijin says is soft, stretchable, shape-retaining and durable. It is partially bio-derived and so helps to conserve fossil resources.
Teijin will also present different version of its Deltapeak fabric, which it says is soft, durable and stretchable, as well as offering ultraviolet protection, anti-transparency and snag resistance. The company will present a version that offers added resilience and a glossy texture. It will also show a nylon-based version, which was developed for athleisure-style garments.
