The company has said the “outstanding feature” of this fabric is the way in which it quickly absorbs perspiration without losing its flame resistance. It added that these qualities fulfil the needs of the workwear industry.
According to Teijin, the fabric offers excellent thermal protection against heat, flames and flash fire. It is also designed to breathe, allowing sweat to move away from the wearer’s body. It has been reinforced with Teijin’s Twaron and Technora para-aramid fibres for increased strength and durability.
Teijin will present the fabric at the forthcoming A+A show, which takes place from October 17-20 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
